Chalets Diane is situated on magnificent, crystal clear Lake Kipawa. Boasting 2000 km of shoreline and 1000 islands there is thousands of perfect fishing spots to call your own. Lake Kipawa is richly populated with Walleye, Lake Trout and Northern Pike to suit any fisherman’s taste. Every year, Chalets Diane guests catch several walleye over 10 lbs. On average, the lake trout caught at Chalets Diane are 4 to 5 lbs but several over 10 lbs are caught every year. Even 10 to 20 lbs Northern pike are not uncommon. Boasting five exclusive to Chalets Diane back lakes full of northern pike, there is also one lake featuring small mouth bass.

Chalets Diane rents fishing adventures for 5 or 7 days which include cabin, one 16’ boat with swivel seats and 15 horsepower, two-stroke motor (per 2 persons) and even feature unlimited fuel & bait.

Learn to fish

The “Prêt-à-pêcher en pourvoirie” program has the mission to make a first positive fishing experience. Once again this year, the MFFP and Canadian Tire has renewed their financial support. Participating outfitters will receive 4 fishing rods, a tackle box and lures.

Here are the criteria to join the program:

• Ease of access (to the outfitter)
• Customized packages for new anglers
• Framework and basic equipment for the fishing practice (from greetings to guest satisfaction after the activity, mini fishing training and give a booklet about the basics of fishing
